Ahmed Majuid

    I’m a C++ software engineer with demonstrated experience in the automotive, oil & gas, and aerospace sectors. I currently contribute to the autonomous driving stack of a premium car maker in the areas of map provisioning, localization, and path prediction. I have delivered end-to-end features that involved collaborating with different partners, suppliers, and stakeholders. I contribute to feature planning, implementation, unit and component testing, documentation, performance optimization, bug fixing, and assessment of test-drive results. All while following Agile principles and best practices.

    I have previously worked on autonomous marine and aerial vehicles, solving various robotics problems including simulation, computer vision (machine learning and geometric), control, and estimation. I’m dedicated to writing high-quality software, but I also have a solid research background and enjoy contributing novel solutions to complex industry problems.
